“May you live in interesting times” is often explained as a Chinese curse (although apparently there is no such expression in Chinese).
But the sentiment works, regardless of the origins of the phrase. Life is often better when things are not quite so “interesting” (read turbulent or changeable).
Are we in interesting times now in financial planning? You bet.
